Cisco has appointed Ossama Eldeeb as its new Managing Director for Africa, reinforcing the company’s commitment to expanding its presence and supporting digital transformation initiatives across the continent.
In his new role, Eldeeb will lead Cisco’s commercial strategy and operations across Africa, working closely with customers, governments, and ecosystem partners to accelerate the adoption of digital technologies and strengthen the region’s digital infrastructure.
Eldeeb brings more than 26 years of international leadership experience across the Middle East and Africa. Throughout his career, he has led business growth initiatives, forged strategic partnerships, and driven technology transformation across multiple markets.
Before his appointment, he served as Regional Director for Cisco’s Partner Organization across the Middle East, Africa, Türkiye, Romania, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). In that role, he spearheaded partner transformation programmes, expanded managed services capabilities, and helped drive regional business growth.
Cisco said the appointment underscores its continued investment in Africa as the company seeks to support governments, businesses, and communities with secure digital infrastructure, trusted partnerships, and innovative technologies that will enable them to capitalize on opportunities presented by the artificial intelligence era.
