Samsung’s next major OS release, One UI 9, is expected to make its official debut later this month alongside the upcoming foldables. At first, it will be exclusive to the new devices and it will start rolling out to other Galaxy devices, starting with the Galaxy S26 series. While Samsung has yet to announce an official release schedule, the first stable One UI 9 firmware has now reportedly been spotted on Samsung’s servers.
According to X user Fahad Ali Javed, the first stable build carries firmware version S948BXXU4BZG6. The same source also reported spotting new internal One UI 9 builds for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S24, and Galaxy S23 series.
Although the first stable One UI 9 build for the Galaxy S26 series has appeared on Samsung’s servers, it does not necessarily mean the public rollout is imminent. There could be more internal stable builds before the official stable release.
As of now, Samsung has not provided an official timeline for the One UI 9 stable rollout for the Galaxy S26 series. However, based on assumptions, it is expected to be released next month.
Samsung is already testing the public beta of One UI 9 on the Galaxy S26 and has released four beta builds so far. There may be a few more beta builds planned before the stable update rollout. Once it is available on the Galaxy S26, it will gradually roll out to other eligible models in the coming months.
One UI 9 is the next major to the One UI release, based on Android 17 for Galaxy devices. This major update is expected to introduce several new features and changes. Some of these features are already available to Galaxy S26 users through the One UI 9 public beta. These include Quick Panel customization improvements, text spotlight, stronger app security, and more adaptive clock styles. You can check all the features here.
