The Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation (TTCL) has officially launched the Kijitonyama FTTx Experience Center in Dar es Salaam, a flagship facility aimed at accelerating digital transformation and promoting everyday digital living across Tanzania.
The new center is designed to provide real-life demonstrations of TTCL’s high-speed fibre internet services, showing how reliable connectivity can power homes, offices, and businesses. Visitors can experience firsthand how fibre broadband enables seamless streaming, smart home integration, online gaming, remote work, and efficient digital operations.
Speaking during the launch, TTCL Board Chairman David Nchimbi reaffirmed the corporation’s commitment to expanding access to advanced communication technologies. He noted that TTCL is focused on connecting Tanzanians to the global digital ecosystem through innovative solutions that support smart home and smart business adoption.
TTCL Director General Moremi Marwa explained that the experience center forms part of the company’s broader strategy to improve service delivery and enhance revenue generation. He added that the facility allows customers to directly interact with TTCL services and better understand their practical benefits.
