The National Telecommunications Regulation Agency held a specialized training course on Type Approval for the Frequency Spectrum, titled “Radio Frequency (RF) Compliance for Type Approval”, at the Egyptian African Telecommunications Training Center (EG-ATRC) from June 1–2, 2026. The programme brought together 33 participants from various countries.
The training was organised as part of efforts by the National Telecommunications Regulation Agency to strengthen regional and international technical capacity in telecommunications and information technology. It also reflects the broader role of the institution in promoting knowledge sharing and regulatory expertise across the sector.

The Egyptian African Telecommunications Training Center hosted the event, reinforcing its position as a regional hub for professional development in telecom regulation and standards. The centre has been accredited by the Training Academy of the International Telecommunication Union, giving it international recognition for delivering capacity-building programmes in the ICT sector.
