If you own a Galaxy smartphone with Samsung’s Wallet app, then you might want to look forward to this update—Samsung recently announced that it’s been working on “Trips,” a new tool within Samsung Wallet that adds some much-needed travel management and organization functions for users. Woncheol Chai, EVP and Head of Digital Wallet Team, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung comments:
Travel plans are often scattered across confirmations, apps and messages, and that creates friction at the exact moments people need clarity… By bringing Trips to Samsung Wallet, we’re giving Galaxy users a single place to keep their trip details organized and stay one step ahead as their plans unfold.
With that in mind, Trips will provide users with a timeline that contains information including travel-related plans, all in a single consolidated view. Trips will group all related items in Samsung Wallet (based on schedules and location, for example), and users will be able to manage their tickets, bookings, rental vehicles and even access reminders, plans and notes throughout the journey.
As for availability, Samsung says that the new Trips feature will be available in Samsung Wallet starting April 2026 on select Samsung Galaxy Android phones in Korea, the United States and the United Kingdom.
