The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has signed an agreement with the Enugu State Government for the operational lease of the NCC Digital Industrial Park and NCC Learning Centre in Enugu, marking a significant step towards expanding digital infrastructure and innovation in the state.
The agreement was witnessed by the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the NCC, Dr. Aminu Maida, alongside members of the Commission’s Board and Management during an official visit to Enugu.
As part of the visit, the NCC delegation also toured the Enugu Smart School Initiative, where digital technologies are being integrated into teaching and learning. The initiative aims to equip young Nigerians with the digital skills and competencies required for the future workforce.
