Poco knows its audience – that’s what we get from last week’s poll. For this year’s X series, the company added a new class, the Pro Max, and it completely overshadowed the regular Pro.
Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max at a glance
The Poco X8 Pro Max is going to be a hit – the budding flagship killer got an overwhelmingly positive response in our poll. It got knocked for its camera – people still remember the 108MP shooter on the X5 Pro – and for still featuring a USB 2.0 port. But this applies to the Pro as well. Meanwhile, the Pro Max has a great chipset, huge battery and a huge screen too.
The Poco X8 Pro has its fans too, but you can see it clearly in the poll – people are leaning towards the Max. There is an exception – some found that the Max is too big with a 6.83” display and a weight of 218g, while the 6.59” display and 201g body of the Pro are more manageable. Being cheaper helped the X8 Pro too.
In the comments, we saw many people reporting that they got great deals on a Poco X8 Pro or an X8 Pro Max and they were all happy with the phones that they got – the X8 series is off to a great start.
