Google’s been busy these past few weeks with fresh updates for its Personal Intelligence features for Gemini, and following its worldwide rollout for more regions, the company announced a new integration within Gemini that combines Personal Intelligence with Nano Banana.
As such, the update essentially lets users create personalized images using Gemini, which will use personal context to generate more unique and individualized images. For example, instead of prompting Gemini to create an image of your dream house with specific visual elements, users can now simply tell the assistant to design their dream home.
For those unfamiliar with the feature, Personal Intelligence gathers information about a user by linking up with different Google apps like Photos and Gmail to give more tailored answers to queries, with details and information relevant to each particular user.
So for example, if a user connects Google Photos to Gemini and asks it to create a photo of their family, Gemini will be able to identify who the user is along with family members based on photos, and from there creates a more individualized image. Of course it is an optional feature, and users can choose to disconnect at any time in their settings.
The feature will be available for eligible users with Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscriptions in the U.S., and Google says that it plans on expanding the feature to more users soon.
